Today I have something super special, wonderful, and spectacular as you can probably tell from the title its a DIY! I absolutely love DIY's especially when they are dupes of something expensive!! I have been using this recipe for the past year or so and it is so great! The DIY is so great because its lasting power is beautiful, its so much more pigmented, and its a lot cheaper. Plus as an added bonus it smells like chocolate!!!
The right is Hoola and the left is mine. Note: they both have water added to them so they are darker for the picture. |
What you will need:
A small container with a lid
A spoon
Cacao powder
Corn starch
Cinnamon
If you don't want to keep it in a powder form you can take a empty compact put the bronzer in. Then pour around a 1 T of rubbing alcohol (proportions will vary). Next take a quarter wrap it in a tissue of toilet paper and press down. Leave it to set over night and by morning you will have DIY bronzer in a compact.
Good luck! Hope you enjoy!
